Obituary for Sandra Petrillo

Sandra (Foster) Petrillo, age 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by the comfort of her loving family in Mansfield on Monday, March 26, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Douglas and Mary (Kennedy) Foster.

Sandra was born in Boston on October 11, 1937 and was raised in Mansfield where she graduated from High School Class of 1955. She and her husband Ralph were married at St. Mary’s church in Foxborough on May 21, 1960. She worked as a teacher’s aide and cafeteria worker for the town Brewster for 10 years. She was a former administrative assistant for E.N.T. Services in Norwood. She also volunteered at the Mary K. Goode Elementary School.

She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Petrillo, Sr. Loving mother of Ralph Petrillo, Jr. and his wife Joanne of Mansfield, Joanne Silva and her husband Philip of Middleboro, Lisa Tarantino and Andrew Stagon of North Attleboro, Diane Kelly and her husband Joseph of North Attleboro and Kathleen “Kate” Sullivan and her husband Robert of Wilmington. Devoted grandmother of Jillian and Brenden Petrillo, Emily and Philip Silva and Jen Delmore, Richard and Mathew Tarantino, Ashley and Olivia Kelly, Kelsey and Meghan Sullivan. Sister of Stephen Foster, James Foster, and Barry Foster

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, April 3 from 4-8 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 58 Carpenter Street, Foxborough. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Foxborough.
