Obituary for William D. Rodemer

William “Bill” D. Rodemer, age 66, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He was the son of the late William and Elizabeth (Bellerjeau) Rodemer.

Beloved long-time companion of Rae Nicholson. Loving Father of William Rodemer of Philadelphia and Julia R. and Abbey K. Nicholson of Plainville. He will be greatly missed by friends and family alike.

Bill was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 22, 1952. He attended Georgia Institute of Technology where he had been recruited as catcher for their baseball team. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War era. He has been a Foxborough resident since 2001.

Bill was employed as a purchasing manager for ACE International in Taunton and was a supervisor for CVS Pharmacy in Mansfield. He enjoyed all sports but was especially a devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan. He was an avid reader who adored his dogs: Bailey and Tucker, and prided himself on his support of his family and friends.

The family would like to thank the amazing caregivers and medical staff of Brigham & Women's pod 5A for their compassion, expertise, and guidance. They would also like to pay tribute to many years of local staff members of CVS, Mansfield who cared for Bill like family.

Relatives and Friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 4-7 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street in Foxborough. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 116 South Street, Foxborough, MA 02035.
