Obituary for Beverly L, Metrano

Beverly Lenette (Denison) Metrano, age 70, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the Greenville Skilled Nursing Care Center in Rhode Island surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the daughter of the late George and June (Inman) Denison.

Beverly was born in Norwood on October 30, 1947 and was raised in Foxborough where she was a graduate of Foxborough High School, Class of 1965. She was also a graduate of the nursing program at Cape Code Community College. She and her husband John were married at St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield on June 28, 1969. She has been a resident of Mansfield for the past 58 years.

Beverly was a retired counselor for the Mansfield Council on Aging. She was also a counselor for SHINE in Mansfield for many years. She enjoyed long rides along the coast, traveling, visits to Bar Harbor, visits to the beach and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was the loving wife of John Metrano. She was the beloved mother of Richard A. Watson and his wife Annamarie of Chelmsford, Jonathan Metrano and his wife Cheryl of Smithfield, RI, Kimberly (Metrano) Toto and her husband Michael of Attleboro and Christopher Metrano of Mansfield. Devoted grandmother of Samantha, Andrew, Ashley, Richard II, Gabrielle, Aliyah, Hailey and Michael and great grandmother of Sophia. Sister of George Denison of Mississippi and former sister in-law of Maureen Denison of Maine. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, February, 20, 2018 from 4-8 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street in Foxborough. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at the Union Church of South Foxborough, 384 South St. in Foxborough.
