Beloved Wife, Mother and Great Grandmother
Foxborough – Margaret (McNamara) Wagner age 96 years, died suddenly on Friday February 17, 2012 at Norwood Hospital. She was the daughter of the late George and Effie (Cook) McNamara.
Margaret was a life long resident of Foxborough. She was born in a house on South Street and attended the public schools until the tenth grade at which time she left school to help take care of her younger siblings.
She was a stay at home housewife and mother. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening, watching television, attending the “Senior Centers Annual 90s Birthday Party” and most of all spending time with her family.
Wife of the late Rial K Wagner, who died in May of 2000. Beloved mother of William and his wife Shirley Wagner, Florence and her husband Winsor Tripp all of Foxborough. Loving Grandmother of Clifford and his wife Donna Stark of Bristol, VT, Melanie Stark, Tammy and her husband Daniel Novick and Ryan Wagner, all of Foxborough, Shannon and George Paquette of Mansfield and Graham Tripp of RI. Great Grandmother of Autumn, Jacob, Nickolas, Jade, Cristian and soon-to-be Jillian. Margaret was preceded in death by four sisters: Frances Schromm, Amy McKay, Florence Morse, Helena McNamara and two brothers: George McNamara and Lawrence McNamara. She is also survived by her brother, Edwin McNamara of Foxborough and her sister, Elizabeth Tapley of Plainville. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the devoted pet owner of “Molly”, her cat and companion.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Thursday February 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Friday February 24 at 9:00 AM from the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home 30 South Street Foxborough MA followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church Carpenter Street, Foxborough.
