Beloved Father , Son and Brother Foxborough – Joseph J. Cass, III, age 44, died suddenly Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Caritas Norwood Hospital surrounded by the comfort of his loving family. Joe was the son of Joseph J. Cass, Jr. and the late Mary (Fitzgerald) Cass.
Joe was born on March 8, 1965 in Dorchester. He was a 1983 graduate of Foxborough High School and earned a degree in Business Administration from Suffolk University. He was formerly a purchasing agent for the MWRA in Boston.
Joe was at one time the head baseball coach at UMASS Boston and Trinity Catholic High School and an assistant football coach at Foxborough High School.
Beloved son of Joseph J. Cass, Jr and the late Mary (Fitzgerald) Cass. Loving father of Joseph IV and Shannon of Danvers. Devoted brother of Robert and his wife Julie of Dorchester and David and Cassandra of Foxborough. Also survived by his former wife Ann and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, January 12 from 4 to 8 pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 13 at 11 am at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter Street, Foxborough. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Foxborough.
