John R. Yurewicz

John Ralph Yurewicz of Green Acres, FL, age 84, died on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston. He was the son of the late Ralph and Dominica (Pietraszek) Yurewicz.

John was born in Boston on June 6, 1926 and was a graduate of Boston English High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. After leaving the Air Force, he attended Boston College, played shortstop and was Captain of the BC Baseball Team. After graduating he taught at Roslindale High School and Boston English High School. After retiring, he moved to Florida.

During the summer John enjoyed spending time in Nantucket and Harwich. He also enjoyed spending time in Saratoga, NY and was a former Foxborough resident.

Brother of Jane Myers of Foxborough and the late Helen Limoncelli and Florence Antonuk.
