Beloved Mother , Grandmother and Great Grandmother
Wrentham – Anna R. (O’Sullivan) Duffy, age 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Patrick and Helen (McHugo) O’Sullivan.
Anna was born on July 7, 1934 in Boston. She was a graduate of Foxborough High School, Class of 1952. She married her late husband Edward J. Duffy on August 29, 1964 at St. Mary’s Church in Wrentham. She was employed as an assembler for Texas Instruments in Attleboro for thirty eight years, before retiring in 1998. Anna was an avid reader and enjoyed crafts of all kinds. She enjoyed ceramics and teaching ceramics in her home.
Beloved mother of Sheila and her husband Bruce Flanagan of Wrentham, Rick Buck and his wife Shelly of MO and Rosemary Duffy of Foxborough. Loving grandmother of James, Danny, Bruce, Tristan and Ericah. Great grandmother of eight. Devoted sister of Delia Oberfell of LA, Helen Henning of TX, Patricia Conroy of TX, John O’Sullivan of Hingham, Patrick O’Sullivan of Foxborough, Kevin O’Sullivan of RI, Danny O’Sullivan of IN, Dennis O’Sullivan of Attleboro, Joseph O’Sullivan of TX and the late Benny, Terry and Paul O’Sullivan. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Friday, May 19 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough.
