James J. Walsh, 74, of Foxboro, passed peacefully in Norwood on August 26, 2017.Born in Boston on October 7, 1942, he was a son of the late James J. Walsh Sr., and Margaret E. (Wallace) Walsh. James worked many years as a certified public accountant for Price Waterhouse Coopers where he was one of the youngest to make partner. He was proud of his corporate work especially on the Boston Red Sox account. James enjoyed the arts, plays, music and fine dining. He was an avid golfer and loved going on vacations and taking his family with them. He loved to have fun and will always be remembered for his generous heart and spirit.
James is survived by three children; Donna E. Marcou of Falmouth, MA, Karen Schmal of Wakefield, MA, and James “Jeff” Walsh of Brockton, his siblings; Patrick Walsh of Franklin, Peter Walsh of Foxboro, Marion Gatulis of Foxboro, and Margaret Brodeur of Foxboro. Also survived by six grandchildren; David, Carolyn, Jessica, Samantha, Trisha, and Aly, and five great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 12-2 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough.
