Loving Wife, Sister and Aunt

Foxborough - Frances D. (Goodwin) Domanowski, age 92, died on Friday, February 3, 2012 at her home surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. Wife of the late Walter Domanowski and daughter of the late Lester J. Goodwin, Sr. and Violet (Carlson) Goodwin.

Fran was born on January 5, 1920 in Somerville. She was educated in Foxborough Public Schools. She was employed as a welder at the Foxboro Company and was a member of the Ten and Twenty five Year Clubs.

Fran enjoyed delivering meals for the Meals on Wheels Program in Foxborough. She loved gardening and was known for her delicious tomatoes, squash and corn. She loved arts and crafts and collecting snowmen. She most enjoyed spending time with her family and looked forward to family holiday gatherings.

Loving sister of Lester J. Goodwin, Jr. and sister in law of Joan Goodwin, both of Foxborough. Beloved sister of the late Kenneth L. Goodwin, Sr., Effie Engley, Jean Jowett, Alma Conway, Violet Cutler and Dorothy Stephens. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, February 7 from 4 to 8 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at Bethany Congregational Church, 3 Rockhill Street, Foxborough. For additional information please contact 508 543-5471.
