FOXBORO - Amy E. (McNamara) McKay, 98, died on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at the Golden Living Center - Garden Place in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles J. McKay, to whom she was married for over 50 years.
Born in Foxboro, Massachusetts on July 27, 1913. Mother of Daniel C. McKay of Naples, Maine, formerly of Foxboro. Grandmother of Daniel C. McKay Jr.
Sister of Margaret E. Wagner of Foxboro, Edwin T. McNamara of Foxboro, Elizabeth M. Tapley of Plainville, the late George A. McNamara, the late Frances Schromm, the late Lawrence W. McNamara, the late Florence D. Morse. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Amy enjoyed raising Pomeranian dogs, needlepoint, crocheting, sewing and gardening. She was a lifetime member of the AKC Pomeranian Club and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Foxboro.
She worked at the St. Mary's Rectory for several years and also worked in the Foxboro school cafeteria system.
Friends and relatives are kindly invited to attend calling hours, 10 a.m. to noon, on Friday, January 13, at The Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St., Foxboro.
