Joseph J. Lynch, 57, of Foxboro, passed peacefully on November 5, 2017 at home. He was the beloved husband of Sharon M. (Keane) Lynch for 31 years.
Born in West Roxbury on December 3, 1959, he was a son of the late John F. and Ellen (Hahir) Lynch. Joseph was educated in Boston schools. He went on to serve his country proudly as a member of the United States Air Force. He was a longtime employee at the Ballard Truck Company in Avon, MA for many years, where he proudly referred to his coworkers as his ‘brothers”. His passion was teaching spin class at the Hockomock YMCA in Foxboro. Joseph was an avid sports fan, liked to be at the beach and ocean, and enjoyed spending time in and around his pool. He also loved his dogs and will be missed by his cherished family.
In addition to his wife Sharon, Joseph is survived by their children, Kelly Jean Lynch of Sharon, and Michael J. Lynch of Foxboro, a brother, Jack Lynch and his wife Joyce of Bellingham, a sister, Linda Lynch of Vernal, Utah, a brother in law, Stephen P. Keane and his wife Dolores M. of Swanzey, NH, and nieces and nephews, Michelle and Sean Lynch, Alex, Matthew, and Nicholas Keane, and Adam Lynch.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, November 8th from 4 - 8 in the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, November 9th at 10 AM. Burial will be private.
