Foxborough- Doris “Dorrie” P. (DeAngelis) Manning Marceau, age 85, passed peacefully surrounded by the comfort of her loving family on Wednesday, July 7, 2010. She was the wife of the late John B. Manning and Robert M. Marceau. Doris was born in Millis on April 7, 1925, the daughter of the late Charles and Lena (Gala) DeAngelis. She was a graduate of Millis High School, Class of 1942 and was a graduate of the Burdett School of Business in Boston. She has been a Foxborough resident since 1955. An advocate for learning disabled children, Doris was a past president for the Massachusetts Association of Children with Learning Disabilities. She also supported her family as a self employed seamstress from her home in Foxborough. Doris was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter and sister who was most happy when spending time with her family. She was a passionate sports fan and enjoyed following the Red Sox, Patriots and Foxborough athletics. Beloved mother of Charlene B. and her husband Dr. Paul Elliott, of Foxborough, Doreen A. and her husband Robert Mason of Lowell, Mary K. and her husband Charles Lynch of Lowell, Jacqueline F. Manning of Attleboro and John B. Manning, Jr. Esq. and his wife Jodi of Westwood. Devoted grandmother of Makenzie, Barrett and Madison Elliott, Charlotte Mason, Chelsea Lynch and Jack, Ryan and Lucas Manning. Loving sister of Charles DeAngelis and his wife Elizabeth of Westwood. Funeral InformationRelatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, July 11 from 4 to 8 pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 12 at 10 am at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter Street, Foxborough. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Foxborough.
