Eleanor K. Heinricher

February 12, 1923 - June 30, 2010

Foxborough-Eleanor Katherine Heinricher, age 87, died on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Norwood Hospital surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Edward F. and Katherine (Galvin) Cronin.

Eleanor was born on February 12, 1923 in Wakefield. She proudly served her country as a nurse in the United States Army during WWII. She and her husband Cyril were married in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania in September of 47. She has been a resident of Foxborough since 1956.

Eleanor was a nursing supervisor of the OBGYN unit at Norwood Hospital for over fifteen years. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed traveling with her sister.

Beloved wife of the late Cyril Heinricher. Loving mother of Edward and his wife Phyllis of Chepachet, RI, Mark and his wife Lee of Hanson, Richard and his wife Darlene of Bellingham, Joseph and his wife Sharon of Foxborough, Michael of Mansfield, John and his wife Robin of Foxborough and the late Cyril Heinricher. Also survived by her devoted granddaughter Alicia Heinricher and 13 loving grandchildren and 3 loving great grandchildren.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, July 8, from 4-8 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home 30 South St. in Foxboro. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment with U.S. Army honors to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Foxborough.
