Loretta Catherine Morse

September 01, 1920 - August 10, 2010

Plainville-Loretta Catherine Morse, age 89 died Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at her home surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Igoe) Conlon.

Loretta was born on September 1, 1920 in Boston. She was a graduate of Roxbury Memorial High School and married her late husband Francis C. Morse on November 3, 1940 in Boston. Loretta was employed as a dental assistant and physician’s receptionist. Loretta has been a Plainville resident for twenty five years and was formerly of Dorchester, Roxbury and Foxborough.

Loretta was active the Bellingham, Milford, Norwood, Mansfield and Franklin Senior Centers. She enjoyed decorative painting, needlework and embroidery.

Beloved mother of Jacqueline and her husband William Wilson and Donna Marie and Richard Hogan, all of Foxborough. Loving aunt of Catherine Eastman of W. Roxbury and innumerable nieces and nephews. Devoted grandmother of five and great grand mother of eight.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, August 15 from 4 to 8 pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 16 at 10 at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter Street, Foxborough. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, W. Roxbury.
