Ruth Frances Hayes

Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Friend Ruth Frances (Piper) Hayes, age 83, passed peacefully on Friday, July 9, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Robert C. Hayes.
Ruth was born on July 16, 1926 in Holderness, New Hampshire and was the daughter of the late Louis and Ethel (Killam) Piper. She was a resident of Raynham for the past 25 years and was formerly of Easton.
Ruth worked as a clerk for Bradlees in Braintree. She has been an active member of the Covenant Church in North Easton for over 50 years. She was also a member of the Raynham Council on Aging and a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed traveling and quilting.
Beloved mother of Susan E. and her husband Mark Dray of North Easton and Karen L. and her husband David Gendall of Beverly. Loving grandmother of Erin Gomes, Meghan Mulholland, Michael Gendall and Steven Gendall. Sister of Dorothea Brusoe of NH and the late John Piper.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Monday, July 12 from 4-8 at the Covenant Church, 204 Center St. in North Easton. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 13 at 11 AM at the church. Interment to follow at Knowllwood Memorial Park in Canton.
