Burleigh Ray Prosser

February 03, 1937 - September 07, 2017

Retired Machinist

Burleigh Ray Prosser, 80, of Foxborough, passed peacefully on September 7, 2017 at Norwood Hospital.  He was the beloved husband of the late Lee Alma (Conway) Prosser.

Born in Monticello, Maine of February 3, 1937, he was a son of the late Ray and Violet (Sewell) Prosser.  Burleigh worked as a machinist for more than 50 years, most recently at Laird Company in Randolph before retiring last year.  He took pride in his home and his property and was known for being able to fix anything.  He also had a passion for working with horses.  Time spent with his family was his greatest joy, especially watching grandson Jake and his dog Britt. 

Burleigh is survived by four daughters, Joanne Jensen of Escondido, CA, Natalie Prosser and her partner Shari Pearce of Columbus, Ohio, Patricia Driggs of Linneus, Maine, and Leanne Whitney of Millville, MA, two grandchildren, Anthony Jensen and his wife Christine, and Jacob Whitney, and a great granddaughter, Olivia Jensen.  Also survived by his brother in law James Conway of Tuftonborough, NH, and sister in laws Sandy Conway of Foxborough and Nancy Conway of Oregon.

Funeral Information
