Frances (Finnegan) Brooks

Foxborough-Frances Brooks, age 72, of Walpole, formerly of Foxborough, died on Monday, January 16, 2012 at her home in Walpole. She was the daughter of the late James and Marie (Bernacchi) Finnegan.

Frances was born in Boston on February 10, 1939 and was a graduate of Archbishop Cushing High School. She earned her teacher’s degree at Boston Teachers College. She has been a resident of Walpole for the past 10 years and was a former long time resident of Foxborough.

She was the former owner and operator of Roseco Florist in Foxborough. She then worked for over ten years at the circulation desk at the Boyden Library in Foxborough. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother who loved to cook and entertain for family and friends. She also was an avid New England Patriot’s fan.

Beloved mother of Michael S. Brooks of North Attleboro, Maura Boone of Norton and her husband the late Brent Boone and Jonathan Brooks of Wrentham. Loving grandmother of Jessica Brooks and Brianna Boone. Sister of Joanie Lynch of Lincoln, John Finnegan of Delaware, Richard Finnegan of Plymouth and the late Paul Finnegan and Margaret Kenefick. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, January 19, from 4-8 PM at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St,. Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 58 Carpenter St., Foxborough. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Foxborough.
