Retired Waitress for Jack's Cafe in Mansfield

Foxborough-Ruth Marie (Gunrud) Mead, passed peacefully on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Attleboro. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Sally (Anderson) Gunrud.

Ruth was born in East Douglas. A Foxborough resident for most of her life, she was a graduate of Foxborough High School, Class of 1939.
Ruth worked as a waitress at Jack’s Café in Mansfield for many years and was also employed by Sterns Drugstore in Mansfield.

Beloved wife of the late Michael Mead. Loving sister of George Gunrud of Natick, Dorothy Huston of Lynn, Vaughan Gunrud of California and the late Lillian Moore, Nancy Leiper, Carla Bartlett, June Gunrud, Ronald Gunrud and Evelyn Holmberg.
