Shirley Ann Cook

Mansfield – Shirley Ann Cook, age 74, died Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the Franklin Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Franklin, MA. She was the daughter of the late J. Stanley and Delia (McGovern) Richards.

Shirley was born on May 11, 1936 in Attleboro. She was a graduate of North Attleboro High School. She was employed as a machinist at Cleveland Twist in Mansfield from 1968 to 1992. Shirley enjoyed painting and flower gardening. She also enjoyed singing, dancing, playing the guitar and country western music.

Loving mother of Linda Cornetta of Mansfield, Mark J. Cook of Mansfield and the late Bert and Debra Cook. Cherished grandmother of Courtney Cook and Christa Cornetta, both of Mansfield. Devoted sister of Carol Frigon of Franklin, Elinor Molloy of Palm Harbor, FL and the late Herman Richards and Barbara Cassela. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, August 5 from 5 to 8 pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 6 at 11 am at Rock Hill Cemetery, Foxborough. For additional information please contact 508 543-5471.
