Foxborough- Haskell, Barbara Ann (White), age 86, died Friday, December 16, 2011 at the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wrentham surrounded and comforted by her loving sons, she was wife of the late Walter Haskell, and daughter of the late Charles and Anne Mae (Hall) White. Barbara was born in Taunton on July 11, 1925 and was a graduate of Taunton High School, Class of 1942. She married her husband Walter at the Methodist Church in North Dighton on August 17, 1945. She has been a resident of Foxborough for the past 48 years. Barbara was an administrative assistant before her retirement in 1985 in the shipping department at the Foxboro Company. She was a member of the Foxboro Company 10 Year Club. She was also a member of the Bethany Congregational Church of Foxborough. Barbara enjoyed knitting, gardening and spending time with her family especially her two sons, Allan and Jim. She was a 26 year cancer survivor. Beloved mother of Allan and James Haskell of Foxborough. Sister of Eleanor Boudreau of Glastonbury, CT, Charles White of Prescott, AZ and the late Lyman White and Hazel Hill. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral InformationRelatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, December 20, from 4-8 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St., Foxborough. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 21, at 11 AM at the Bethany Congregational Church, 3 Rockhill St, Foxborough.
