Arlene Marie Haggerty

Loving Mother and Grandmother Arlene Marie (Dolan) Haggerty, age 75, oF Foxborough, formerly of Dorchester, died Wednesday, August 4, 2010. She was the wife of the late James Haggerty, Sr. and the daughter of the late Arthur B., Sr. and Mary (Maxwell) Dolan.
Arlene was born in Boston on June 15, 1935 and was a graduate of the High School of Practical Arts in Roxbury, Class of 1953. She and her husband James were married in Dorchester on July 12, 1958. She has been a Foxborough resident for the past forty three years.
Arlene began her career late in life after raising her five children at Robert Allen Fabrics in Mansfield. She enjoyed spending her time with her children and grandchildren.
Loving mother of William A. and his wife Kimberly of RI, Robert and his wife Vicki of WA, Kathleen and her husband David of North Attleboro, Michael Attleboro and the late James P. Haggerty, Jr. Sister of Arthur Dolan of Weymouth. Also survived by eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Sister in-law if Catherine McFayden of Wilmington.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Friday, Aug. 6, 2010 from 4 to 7 pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, Foxboro. For additional information please contact 508 543-5471.
